摘　　要：在我国城市化高速发展的过程中,小城镇扮演着相当重要的角色,关于其形象设计的问题也日益受到关注。该文试图引入起源于企业的CIS理论,通过分析企业、城市、小城镇的属性,得出小城镇TIS(Townlet Identity System)的定义及内部构成,作为小城镇形象设计的理论依据。The townlet plays a rather important role in the process of rapid urban development in China, and the image design of townlets is also paid more and more attention. This article attempts to introduce the ClS methodology originated in enterprises, analyzes the different attributes of corporations, cities and townlets, and then concludes the definition and inner components of TIS （Townlet Identity System） as theoretical basis for Townlet image design.
