摘　　要：生物指示物(Bioindicator)是指能通过典型症状或可衡量的反应来揭示大气污染物存在与否的生物体或生物反应。许多对污染物敏感的植物和微生物都可以做为大气污染的生物指示物。对国内外相关研究进展做一综述,并简单探讨了目前研究存在的问题和未来研究的方向。A bioindicator is an organism or biological response that reveals the presence or absence of an air pollutant by the occurrence of typical symptoms or measurable responses. Many plants and microorganisms sensitive to air pollutants may be applied as indicators of air pollution. The relative researches on bioindicators are reviewed and the problems and prospects are discussed briefly.
