摘　　要：由于知识交流的需求而出现图书馆这样的机构,随着科学技术的发展图书馆在社会知识交流中的作用趋于减弱,因而适应社会知识交流新需求是图书馆必须考虑的问题。The emergence of library was due to the knowledge exchanges. With advances of science and technology the library function has tended downwards in social knowledge exchanges , as a result to adapt to the new need of social knowledge exchanges is the problem that the library must consider.
