摘　　要：FITS是广泛应用于天文领域中数据转换、分析和数据存储的标准计算机数据文件格式,如何在Windows环境下开发出方便有效的FITS图像应用软件具有现实意义。本文简要介绍了FITS格式文件的概况、演化和最新进展,重点描述了如何在Windows/VC++ 6.0环境下编程实现FITS图像的显示。FITS is a standard format of data file widely used in astronomy for the transport, analysis, and archiving of data files. It is of real importance to develop a convenient and valid software to process FITS images under the Windows environment. The history, evolution and development of FITS are briefly described in this paper. We give certain detailed description about displaying FITS images by programs under the Windows/VC ＋ ＋ 6. 0 environments.
