汤婷婷《女勇士》中“鬼”意象的解读

摘　　要：在华裔美国文学中，汤婷婷的《女勇士》无疑是具有典型意义的一部小说。“鬼”作为最为常见的中国文化符号之一，大量出现在这部小说之中。从文化符码的角度对其进行解读，可以发现“鬼”作为中国文化符号具有多重能指。它既是汤婷婷等少数作家为获得读者市场而采取的写作策略，也是作者的中国想象的诗意化表达，更为重要的是寄托了华裔族群对中美两种异质文化从冲突走向融合的诉求。同时，通过对“鬼”意象的分析，有利于消除少数批评家关于汤婷婷等华裔作家“歪曲中国传统文化”的误解。In Chinese literature of the United States, Woman Wardor by TANG Ting-ting is without a doubt a novel of typical significance. ＂Ghost＂ is one of the most common symbols of Chinese culture, frequently appearing in the novel. From the perspective of culture code for its interpretation, we can see that ＂ghost＂ as a symbol of Chinese culture can have multiple referents. It is the writing tactics to win a large number of readers, is also the poetic imagination of the author. More importantly, it is the demand of Chinese Americans to move the two different cultures from conflict to integration. At the same time, through in-depth analysis, the misunderstanding of a small number of critics on Chinese writer TANG Ting-ting＇s distortion of traditional Chinese culture is eliminated.
