摘　　要：AM/FM(Automatic Mapping/Facility Management)是一种设备和生产技术管理的计算机图文交互系统,建立在GIS基础上的AM/FM系统为AM/FM/GIS系统,被广泛应用于城市公用事业的信息化管理中。随着GIS技术的不断发展以及人们对AM/FM技术认识的不断加深,AM/FM/GIS的应用领域正在不断拓展。AM/FM/GIS必将成为城市公用事业领域进行科学管理的现代化工具。AM/FM （Automatic Mapping/Facility Management） is a kind of grafic and text interaction computer system of equipment and production management. AM/FM/GIS system which based on GIS is being widely applied to informationized management of urban public utilities. With the continuous development of GIS technology and the deepening understanding of people to the AM/FM technology, the application fields of AM/FM/GIS are expanding. AM/FM/GIS will become a modem scientific management tool of urban public utilities.
