摘 要:自动指纹识别系统(AFIS)考虑的问题主要包括移植性、识别速度和指纹数容量等关键问题。为了解决这些问题,提出了一种新的解决这些问题的硬件方案。在SPI协议下,利用TI公司高性能浮点数据处理芯片TMS320C6713和Veridi- com公司固体指纹传感器FPS200,第一次实现了DSP与FPS200通过多通道缓冲串口McBsP实现指纹采集,提高了AFIS的移植性;TMS320C6713数据处理能力强大,具有浮点数据处理能力,可以大大提高指纹算法的执行速度;通过外扩存储器SDRAM,能够实现大规模指纹图像的采集和存储;经过实际测试,该方案的设计为实现实时大容量嵌入式自动指纹识别系统(AFIS)提供了较理想的硬件平台。The automatic fingerprint recognition system (AFIS) faces some key problems such as transplantation, recognition speed and memory space. To solve these problems, a new solution by designing a hardware system is put forward. Under the SPI agreement, high performance floating-point data signal processor TMS320C6713 and solid fingerprint sensor FPS200 are applied. It is the first time that DSP and FPS200 communicate with each other through serial interface(McBSP) sucessfully, which improves the transplantation of AFIS; with the high performance of floating-point data handling ability, TMS320C6713 can improve the execution speed of fingerprint algorithm greatly; at last, by expanding data memory SDRAM from outside, the system can realize large-number fingerprint images' catching and the storing. The test shows that the system can provide a rather ideal hardware platform for the embedded AFIS.
