摘　　要：随着计算机软硬件技术、计算机图形／图象处理技术和CAD技术的飞速发展，实现工程设计可视化技术的条件己经成熟。本文介绍了工程设计可视化技术的国内外发展状况、主要研究内容和所需的计算机软硬件环境；详细讨论和系统总结了工程设计可视化技术的基础理论和实用技术结合重庆城市快速轨道交通和梁平万县高速公路方案可行性论证成功地实现了工程设计可视化。并归纳出工程设计可视化实现的一般途径，With t he rapid development of computer hardware/software. computer graphics / image and CADtechnology, the conditions for implementation of Visualization in Engineering Design have matured.This technology cantransfer the objects. analytical computation and relative realistic environments into the static and dynamic graphics /image visible by human eyes. 'This paper presents the developing situation at home and abroad,main contents and theenvironments of computer hardware, software, discusses thoroughly;and summarizes systematically the basic theory andpractical technology. By combinating the plan feasibility demonstration of Chongqing light-rail traffic andLiangping- Wan county superhighway visualization was realized successfully and the general realizing ways wasconcluded.
