摘　　要：Ovarian stimulation with gonadotrophins increases the numbers of oocytes ovulated and embryos produced.Today,ovarian stimulation is frequently used and generally accepted in ART all over the world.However,plenty of studies have described an adverse effect of hormonal treatment on the female and children.Artificial induction of ovulation with high doses of gonadotrophins has been demonstrated to decrease oocyte quality,the viability of embryos,endometrial receptivity and impair female and IVF generational health.Couples undergoing treatment with ovarian stimulation should be informed about the potential risk for mother and children.Ovarian stimulation with gonadotrophins increases the numbers of oocytes ovulated and embryos produced.
