摘　　要：长距离高速光纤通信系统的研究是当前光通信领域的一大热点,FEC是实现长距离高速光纤通信的关键技术。文章介绍了FEC在陆缆系统中应用的必要性,几种可能的实现手段及在SDH层、OCh层具体实现技术,以及其对系统性能的改善。The research on high speed long haul fiber-optical communications system has become the focus in the optical communication field. Forward error correction is the key technique for implementation of high speed long haul fiber-optical communications. This paper describes the necessity of FEC in land fiber-optical system, the implementations on SDH layer and OCh layer, and the improvement on the system performance.
