摘　　要：利用地震前兆电磁辐射接收仪在山西太原的观测资料，按照地震短临预报原理，预报了１９９６年５月３日内蒙古包头６４级地震，并与国外同类结果做了比较，指出短临预测原理用于地震预报实践是可行的。Acconding　to　the　principle　of　the　shortimpending　earthquake　prediction,the　M64 earthquake　at　Baotou,　Inner　Mongolia　on　May　3,　1996　was　predicted　by　the　observational　data　of　the　electromagnetic　radiation　receiver　of　earthquake　precursor,　through　comparison　with　the　result　of　a　kind　abroad,　it　was　suggested　that　the　principle　of　the　shortimpending　earthquake　prediction　is　feasible　in　the　practice　of　the　earthquake　prediction
