摘　　要：节奏不断加快的全球信息革命，实质上是用０和１两位数字编码来表达、存储、传输一切信息的数字化革命．本文论述数字化图书馆的定义、特点、数据类型，及在世界上的发展现状，揭示图书馆数字化的大趋势；最后论述数字化图书馆对传统图书馆的影响．The world's informative revolution whose rhythm becomes faster and faster is, infact, a digital revolution which, using two digital codes 0 and 1,expresses, stores and transmits all kinds of information. This article discusses the definition, characteristics, types of data of digital library and its current situation in the world. The article brings to light the general trend of digitalization of information resources in library. In the end, it discusses the influence that digital library exerts on traditional library.
