摘　　要：During China＇s golden autumn season, about 100 scientists from fifteen countries gathered in Benxi City of Liaoning Province in northeast China to participate in the International Symposium of Palaeontology and Stratigra- phy, held in Benxi from 4 October to 7 October, 2007. Among them, there were several distinguished geologists, palaeontologists and academicians, including Professor Tingdong Li （China）, Professor D. L. Dilcher （USA）, Professor M. Akhmetiev （Russia） and Professor R. Barsbold （Mongolia）.
