摘　　要：2008年8月8日．第二十九届奥运会圣火在主体育场鸟巢点燃时，互联网多股力量间的争夺战也正式拉开帷幕。Before the beginning of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, the Internet as the representative of new media had already shown the trend of intense competition, especially the increasingly heated contest among the major portals. On August 8th, 2008, with beginning of the opening ceremony of the 29th Olympic Games in the main stadium nest, the competition of Internet had officially started. In fact, as long as the observation of the main focus and the report means of the major portals during the Olympic Games, you can peep clear to the focus of future development: f ull using of the monopoly information resources, or making maximizing of the content advantage, or exploring the advantages that competitors do not have. Olympic Games brings a direct internet flux and advertising growth, all the Internet media have become the harvester of the Olympic. In addition, the Olympic Games held in China, its large-scale that never heard before, which can accumulate rich media management experience for the major Internet media, and the strength growth that reaches the amazing significance. However, the results of their harvest are much different, equally on the whole on the original, but in this grand competition the gap is gradually widen. From this perspective, there is a distinction of winning or losing. For the short term, although the final outcome of winning or losing will not be prominent, but the subtle changes of seven major portal sites will be slowly taking on in the pattern of the 'Post Olympic economy'. Therefore, the Olympic as test site of the major portals to the exclusive appearance. With this opportunity, the development strategy of the major portals is more clearly, the different competition trend of the portals is being more obvious as well .
