摘　　要：首先介绍了MapInfo的数据交换格式MIF/MID文件的结构特点,分析了SVG的特点及其文档结构,建立了MapInfo地图对象到SVG中元素的转换模型表,详细讨论了转换过程中的一些关键问题并提出了解决方案;最后,以MapInfo格式的广州市区地图为例用Java程序实现了到SVG格式的转换并对其进行了实验分析,从而验证了MapInfo2SVG转换方法的可行性和可靠性。Firstly , this paper introduced the structure of MIF/MID file of Maplnfo transformation format, analyzed the characteristic and document structure of SVG ,and then established the transformation model between Maplnfo＇ object and SVG＇ element, discussed some key problem and also gave the solve method. Finally, as a sample,transformed the Maplnfo map of Guangzhou into the SVG format with Java programme. The experiment result shows that this method is feasible and effective.
