摘　　要：本文论述了科技图书馆在信息社会中的地位及作用.图书馆可以利用自身的优势为经济建设服务,开发利用文献信息资源是科技图书馆走出困境、求得发展的有利措施;提出了关于积极主动地开发与利用文献信息资源的建议;图书馆为科研服务应采取必要的服务方式。综合阐述了科技图书馆的文献资源建设、网络建设及建立合理的藏书结构等文献信息服务的基本要素。This essay deals with status and function of the scientific and technical libraries in the informational society. Libraries can use their own advantages to serve the economic construction. Development and utilization of document and information resource is a powerful measure for libraries out of trouble. The article gives some advice about it and put forward the necessary mode of service, makes a comprehensive tatement about building of documents, network and books collection , etc..
