摘 要:由于基于MDL准则的信源数估计算法只适用于估计白噪声条件下非相关源的数目,为了适应战场的实际应用环境,提出了基于改进MDL准则的MDL比值信源数目估计算法,有效地解决了基于传统的MDL准则算法在有色噪声条件下信源数估计失效的问题。为了研究空间噪声相关性对所提算法的影响,建立和推导出了适用于圆阵的空间相关有色噪声模型。通过仿真实验和实测数据的验证试验,验证了所提出算法的有效性和可行性。We propose a novel algorithm based on the ratio of minimum description length (MDL) criterion. In the full paper, we explain our algorithm in some detail; in this abstract, we just add some pertinent remarks to naming the first two sections of the full paper. Section I is: the signal reception model for an acoustic sensor array. Section 2 is: the estimation algorithm based on the source number of improved MDL ratio. Its five subsections are. MDL criterion (subsection 2.1), establishing the space- correlated colored noise model (subsection 2.2), estimating the source number of MDL criterion under colored noise (subsection 2.3), estimating the source number using MDL ratio (subsection 2.4), and estimating the source number using the improved MDI; ratio (subsection 2.5). In subsection 2.2, we establish the space-correlated colored model for the circular array to analyze the colored noise of the signals received by the acoustic sensor array. We point out that in subsection 2.4, eq. (10) is the most important. In subsection 2. 5, likewise eq. (12) is the most important. Finally, we did experiments on the blind estimation of source number. The analysis of the experimental data, shown in Fig. 4 and Fig. 5 in the full paper, demonstrates preliminarily that our estimation algorithm can increase the difference between MDL function values associated with the source number and that associated with the non-source number and thus improve the estimation performance under low SNR, indicating that our estimation algorithm is feasible and effective.
