摘  要:介绍了一种全新的全合成法G.655和G.656光纤制造工艺,详细分析了该工艺中芯层折射率差Δ0、芯层厚度a、第二包层的折射率差Δ2、第二包层的厚度c2等结构参量与光纤光学性能的关系.结果表明,制造该两种光纤时,Δ0应在0.0120~0.0155之间,Δ2应在0.0140~0.0230之间,a应在2.8~3.2μm之间,c2应在满足截止波长的要求下尽可能小.Based on Complete Synthetic Process, a novel preform fabrication process for G. 655 and G. 656 optical fibers with a complicated refractive index profiles were designed and studied. The influences on propagation properties of major waveguide parameters including fiber core refractive index △0, core diameter a, refractive index of the second cladding △2 and thickness of the second cladding c2 were discussed in detail and optimization of design was described. The result demonstrated that △0, △2, and a should be between 0. 0120-01 0155,0.0140-0. 0230 and 2.8-3.2um,respectively,while c2 as smaller as possible on the condition that the cutoff wavelength is not out of range.
