Measurement and analysis of the indoor air quality of the modern bamboo house in China

摘  要:首次对湖南大学现代竹木及组合结构研究所肖岩教授课题组研发的一栋现代竹结构房屋室内空气品质在竹材板裸露的最不利状况下进行了实测。利用甲醛分析仪检测和大气采样仪采样及气相色谱仪分析,可以判断常见的有害物质有无并测得浓度。结果表明,这种建筑在竹板材裸露而没有粘贴防火石膏板材的条件下,室内空气中含有微量的污染物质,而且根据房间的大小和通风状况有显著性差异。但即使在竹胶合板材裸露而没有内装修的条件下,各种有机污染物质的浓度都很低,完全满足国家相关空气质量标准的要求。This paper focuses on measuring the indoor and outdoor air quality of a newly-designed and constructed modern bamboo house for the first time. As is known, it has become a favorable tendency in our country to develop the green economy, including the improved improvement of people' s living standards and building their homes with materials close to nature. In the paper, the main material of the bamboo house is bamboo, and the frame of walls is made of bamboo and fir, while the wall panel is made of bamboo plywood, by a team led by Prof. Xiao of the Institute of Modem Bamboo, Timber and Composite Structures. When measuring, the house has not been decorated and all the bamboo veneer panels are exposed, thus the measurement is for the worst situation. The survey parameters we have prepared include: the indoor and outdoor air temperature, relative humidity, wind velocity and atmospheric pressure as well as the concentration of formaldehyde, with some selecting VOCs and TVOC. In order to measure the VOCs, sampling instrument is adopted to sample air and the air collected by Tenax tubes. When analyzed with gas chromatograph coupled with adsorption/thermal desorption and flame ionization detection (FID), it is found that the compounds are qualitative by retention time while quantitative by peak area, and the nonidentified peak as toluene. When chromatography software is used to collect and analyze the data with the standard curves applied and all sampling parameters input, it become easy to analyze the concentrations of TVOC and the selected VOCs which are contained in the sampiing tubes. Therefore, the above said factors are actually taken as representative major chemical classes of compounds that occur in the indoor air, including benzene, toluene, butyl acetate, ethylbenzene, m/p-xylene, cinnamene, o-xylene, and undecane.
