摘　　要：作为《政府信息公开条例》中明确规定的公开查阅场所,档案馆、公共图书馆及行政机构三者各有优势,又各有局限。以嘉兴市公开查阅场所为例,图书馆相对于档案馆、行政审批服务中心而言,在政府信息工作方面能够得到业界专家的高度关注与积极推动,具有较强的亲和力、较广泛的网络布点和全方位的服务。因此,公共图书馆应明确定位,充分发挥其在政府信息公开查阅方面的优势,更好地为公众服务。As the designated places of ＂The Decree of Government Information Openness＂, archives, public libraries and administrative institutions all have their advantages and limitations. Taking the public consulting places of Jiaxing as the example, the public libraries could get more attentions and supports of experts, have much stronger affinity and wider network distribution, and provide fuller range of services than archives and administrative examination service centers. Therefore, public libraries should be a clear position, give full play to its advantages of the government information openness, and provide better services to the public.
