Objective: To investigate the expressions of Nestin, Wntl and β-eatenin in the region of SVZa-RMS-OB in mice. Methods : The whole brain of the postnatal day 0 (P0) Kunming mouse was separated, and the frozen brain cut into 20μm sections. The expressions of Nestin and Wntl in the SV- Za-RMS-OB were detected by double immunofluorescence staining, and that of β-catenin determined by single immunofluorescence staining. Results: The expression of Nestin was the highest in SVZa and lowest in OB; the expression of Wntl was the highest in OB and lowest in RMS; and that of β-catenin was the highest in SVZa and lowest in OB. Conclusion : With the migration of neural stem cells from SVZa to OB, the expressions of Nestin and β-catenin were gradually decreased. The highest expression of Wntl was observed in OB, the terminal of the migration, and the lowest in the RMS during the migration. The difference in the expression of Nestin, Wntl and β-catenin in the SVZa-RMS-OB of mice might be correlated with the proliferation and differentiation of SVZa neural stem cells.
