摘　　要：城市居住区更新是城市建设的重要内容之一，亦与广大城市居民的生活环境与质量相关，具有重要的现实意义。本文基于城市更新概念和发展背景进行描述，并对国外城市居住区更新中存在的问题进行了分析，并探求解决的途径与策略，提出了一些建设性意见。Urban renewal is one of the important things that it is in the course of urban established. And the urban renewal connects every citizen, The article would describe the concept and background of the urban renewal and analyze the problems of renew in the old resident zone in the foreign country. By these ways, it should be found the ways of solving the problems in the old resident zone and bring forward the constructive opinion.
