摘　　要：大学开展竞技体育运动项目,培养高水平的优秀体育人才,是我国社会经济发展的必然趋势.现行大学体育竞赛存在竞赛类型少、水平低的特点,大学体育对实现"奥运争光计划"目标所取得的成果不大.通过对存在问题主要社会原因分析,提出构建良好竞赛平台的策略,以促进我国竞技体育可持续发展.College sports are conducive to the cultivation of outstanding sports personnel. And it is also the trend of the development of China＇s economic society. Being narrow in scope, low in level, and other features of college sports made it hardily possible for China＇s colleges to turn out athletes for such big games as the Olympic Games. Based on the analysis of the social causes, some strategies were proposed to change the current situation. The purpose is to promote the sustained development of sports in China.
