摘　　要：太湖及其附近地区自晚更新世末期以来,由于内外营力共同作用的结果,经历着一个由沟谷切割的滨海平原景观,演变为蝶形洼地的泻湖地貌形态,其后由于出入口通道的变化,泻湖演变为太湖,并经历面积大小的伸缩演变过程。In the area around Tai Lake（太湖）, since late Pleistocene epoch（晚更新世）, uue to the endogenetic agent and external agent, a process of the landscape forming from a landscape of gulch-cut littoral plain to a lagoon landscape of papilionaceous depression has been taken place. And then the lagoon had developed into Tai Lake due to the changing of incoming and outcoming watercourse with continuous zooming of its area
