摘　　要：阐述科技查新的作用意义，回顾了湖北省科技信息研究院科技查新工作的发展历程，针对当前科技查新活动中面临的一些问题进行了思考，提出了科技查新要创新查新管理，在新一轮改革环境下，适时推进知识管理战略，强调以知识管理带动科技查新的业务“突围”。The article described the function of science and technology novelty retrieval, reviewed the development course of novelty retrieval operation in HBSTI. By considering the problems in current novelty retrieval operation, some viewpoints were given： creating novelty retrieval management, timely promoting knowledge management strategy and emphasizing that the novelty retrieval operation should be greatly pushed forward by the knowledge management in the new-round of reform.
