摘  要:Powerformer是一种集成了传统发电机和升压变压器功能的新型高压发电机,是在发电技术领域取得的最新进展。它通过利用交联聚乙烯(XLPE)电缆绕制定子绕组,克服了困扰发电机绕组设计的绝缘问题,使得其机端电压在电缆绝缘水平范围内可以任意调节,实现与高压电网的直联。结合目前实际运行的Powerformer的情况,介绍了Powerformer的设计特点,Powerformer对系统侧的支持情况。此外,Powerformer设计和运行的特点使得原有发电机保护不能完全适应Powerformer的要求。目前,作者所在课题组提出了4种面向Powerformer的保护新功能,即Powerformer定子电容电流自适应补偿差动保护、Powerformer新型能量方向保护、非全相保护、用于多台电机并联运行于同一母线的发电机过电压保护。对这4种保护的功能设计进行了详细的介绍。最后总结了Powerformer保护现阶段的研究成果,指出了其中存在的问题,提出了后续研究的思路。Powerformer incorporates the functions of the conventional generator and the step-up transformer into one unit, which represents the latest achievement in the power generation technology. The windings of the Powerformer make use of cross-linked polyethylene cables so that the insulations of the stator winding can be improved greatly. Based on the novel winding design, the terminal voltage of Powerformer can be increased to the level of HV even EHV grid. On the basis of the operations of the commissioned Powerformers the design characteristics of Powerformer and its support to power systems are introduced. Additionally, the present generator protections cannot meet the demands due to the new design and operation features of the Powerformer. Until now, 4 novel protections applicable to the Powerformer have been invented in our research group, i.e. self-adaptive compensated generator differential protection, a novel energy direction protection for Powerformer, open phase protection and overvoltage protection for parallel machines connected directly to the busbar. The designs of the functionality of above protection schemes are described. Some problems of the present designs are pointed out as well. Finally, the direction of the subsequent studies in this field is suggested.
