摘　　要：通过查阅世界卫生组织相关报告,检索国内期刊发表的基本药物文献资料,回顾了《WHO基本药物目录》及我国《国家基本药物目录》的发展进程。结果表明,我国《国家基本药物目录》面临品种数量太多、遴选标准缺乏科学性和规范性以及基本药物的作用难以发挥等问题,有必要对《国家基本药物目录》进行修订以充分发挥其应有的作用。Searching literatures published by WHO and about the essential drugs policy reported on domestic periodieals. This article reviewed and analysed the progress and problems in establishing and implementing the national essential drugs list in China,The results show that national essential drugs list in China faces such issues as the number of species is too much, the selection criteria is lack of scientific and normative,and the essential drugs is difficult to play its role and so on,so it is necessary to amend the national essential drugs list in order to fully play its due role.
