摘　　要：匾额和楹联是中国古典园林塑造意境的主要手段。历代北京私家园林非常重视匾联的设置,佳作极多,对其园景做出非常准确的描绘和渲染;很多题额出自古代诗词典故,显示出很深的文化背景;还有一些匾联强调祈福纳祥的寓意;一些王公贵族的府园往往拥有皇帝、太后所赐的匾额、楹联,带有较重的荣宠性质。在长期搜集资料的基础上,对北京历史上一些著名私家园林的匾联作品进行介绍和分析,并进一步探讨其文化内涵以及与造园意匠的关系。As lhe main methods of creation of artistic conception, the inscribed boards and couplets were used frequenlly Jn the private gardens Jn Beijing. Numerous excellent examples described vividly the landscapes and the most of them were introduced from the classical poems and literary quotations, as well as some were written by the emperors and queen mothers. Based on lots of firsthand materials, the author tries to study and analyze the most important inscribed boards and couplels in lhe private gardens of Beijing, and make further exploration of their cultural connotalion and the influence to garden design.
