从《苏东坡传》看林语堂其人

摘　　要：林语堂旨在向西方介绍中国文化,用英语写作了《苏东坡传》。传中他突破了史实本身,而深入到传主的内心。这种表达是主观化的,从某种程度上说实则为夫子自道。文章试从《苏东坡传》这本书中发现林语堂与苏东坡相似的经历及独特人格的形成原因。Aiming at introducing Chinese culture to the West, Lin Yutang writies “The Gay Genius： The Life and Times of Su Tungpo” in English. In the biography, he breaks through the historical evidence itself, moreover penetrates into the host＇s innermost feelings. In fact, his opinion is subjective, and speaks for himself to some degree. The paper tries to discover the formation reason of similar experience and the unique personality between Lin Yutang and Su Tungpo.
