摘　　要：在改革开放和思想解放浪潮的带动下，广东民办高等教育经历了创建、快速发展、内涵发展的历程。短短20年，取得了巨大的成绩，显示出了办学模式多样、国际化程度高等发展特点。然而，广东民办高校的发展并非一帆风顺。新世纪新时代，广东民办高等教育在宏观管理、微观改革上仍困难重重，亟待从理论、政策上进行更深入的研究，从宏观微观层面进行全面、系统的探索。Since Reform and Opening, the Private Higher Education in Guangdong Province has development very rapidly.From 1988,it has experienced three stages： foundation period, high speed development period, connotation development period. Up to now, it has got tremendous success.At the same time,the private higher education in Guangdong province showed lots of characters,such as diversity in running, highly internationalization. But the development of private universities in Guangdong has not always been smooth.In the 21st century,the private higher education has still faced many difficulties in the macro-management and micro-reforms.It is urgent to make further comprehensive research of the theory, policy and practice about the private higher university.
