从《东方杂志》看晚清政府对东沙岛的主权交涉

摘　　要：由于地缘关系,日人于20世纪初侵占东沙岛,晚清政府经过艰苦的主权交涉将其收复。当时上海《东方杂志》向国人介绍了东沙岛的地理状况,记述了晚清政府交涉东沙岛主权的经过,反映出当时国内舆论民心之走向。这在国内舆论界是难能可贵的,它从一个侧面折射出近代南海历史变迁的时代特征。Due to the geopolitical reasons, Japanese occupied the Pratas in the early 20th century, and the late Qing government recovered the sovereignty of the Pratas after arduous negotiations with Japanese government then. At that time, Orient Magazine in Shanghai introduced the geographical situation of the Pratas, described the process of late Qing government＇s negotiation, and reflected domestic public opinions , which was rare for domestic society then, and reflected to some degree the changing characteristics of the South China Sea in modem history.
