摘  要:本文目的在于从激光物理基本概念出发,对谐振腔衍射理论中几个主要的但常常被忽视的问题进行讨论。包括一般谐振腔是如何满足菲涅尔—基尔霍夫标量理论;对激光模式的完整描述是从横向和纵向两个方面由本征函数和本征值结合“自再现”来实现;不同的激光模式是相互独立的、不相干的;腔内存在的场实质上是驻波场。文中还指出了某些文献中对本征函数构成完备系的错误理解,出现了“一个本征函数可用其他本征函数叠加来描述”的错误。Several basic problems on the diffraction theory of resonators, whichare oftenignored, are discussed in the precent work by using fundamental concepts of laser physics.It presents how to make a general resonator into the form of the scalar theory. It is demonstrated that a complete description of laser modes is given by the eigenfunctions and corresponding eigenvalues as well as the self-reproduction in spatial distribution and phase both transversely and longitudinaly as well. It is indicated that the different modes are independent and incoherent,and the fields in the cavity are essentially standing wave fields. The misunderstanding for the completeness of the eigenfun-ction by some authors, who argued that an eigenfunction could be constructed by sup-erpossing, is pointed out.
