摘　　要：以天津老城厢鼓楼商业街坊设计为例,探讨了恢复传统历史街区的方式不应使用虚假的复古手法,而应用与传统街巷在精神上相契合的城市空间体系,来创造一个更有活力的复杂的整体。针对于当前简单和快速的城市化,这种理念所创造的慢速城市空间会更有魅力。The case study of the design for Gulou Shopping Neighborhood in and around Tianjin Old City shows that rehabilitation of traditional historical block couldn＇t adopt the skill for ＂being back to the ancients＂ formally, but needs to create a complicated whole where the urban space system will be conformed to the spirit of traditional lanes and alleys full of vigor. Comparing with the simple and rapid urbanization at present, the low speed urbanized space created by above idea could be of more glamour.
