摘 要:本文以影片《傲慢与偏见》的反讽话语为语篇分析对象,对有关反讽的回声解释论中未充分解释的问题,做认知语境观方面的补充解释。反讽意图的识别依赖于听者对话语所表达的命题和理解时同时激活的一项或多项语境信息之间的不相容性的探察。通过对与反讽有关的语境信息进行认知分类,本文不但证明了多源语境信息的激活有助于反讽意图的识别,而且更加充分地展示了Austen反讽艺术的独特魅力,从而揭开了其作品中人物对话机智幽默、妙趣横生的奥秘。Taking the film Pride and Prejudice as the object of discourse analysis, this paper complements the Echo- ic-Interpretation Theory of Irony from the perspective of the relevance-theoretic approach to context. The identification of irony may depend on the heater's detection of incompatibilities between the proposition expressed by the utterance and the information provided by one or several contextual sources which are simultaneously activated during the interpretation of the utterance. Through the cognitive three-type classification of irony-relevant contextual sources, this paper not only proves that the identification of irony can be speeded up with the multiple activation of contextual sources, but also demonstrates the unique charm of Jane Austen's art of irony.
