摘　　要：阐述了缩短平均住院日的意义及有效缩短平均住院日的具体措施,并分析了北京朝阳医院8年来平均住院日以及住院费用情况,发现通过强化医疗质量管理,平均住院日持续下降,出院人数、床位周转次数持续上升;平均住院日的缩短,患者的医疗费用降低。强化医疗质量管理,是缩短平均住院日的重要手段。The means of reduce average length of stay and measures of effectively reduce average length of stay were discussed. The average length of stay and hospitalization expense in the recent 8 years in Chaoyang hospital was analyzed. By strengthening medical quality management, average length of stay decreased continuously and discharge patients and bed turnover increased continuously. Hospitalization expense was significant reduced. So strengthening medical quality management was an important measure to reduce average length of stay.
