一个可供选择的界线层型剖面—吉林二道沟群新认识

摘　　要：经几年来实地观察研究,证实原“二道沟群”,总体上为倒转扇形向斜褶曲;轴部为二道沟灰岩,层位在上;翼部为小绥河砂页岩,层位在下;根据多门类化石综合分析和对比,认为灰岩地质时代为早泥盆世早期,砂页岩则为晚志留世晚期。该剖面是我国北方槽区一个可供选择研究的志留系一泥盆系界线层型剖面。'The original Erdaogou Group' in Jilin province occurred as an overturned tan synclinal fold in space. Limestone occurred in the trough and sandstone—shaIe, in two Limbs. It shows the successively evolutional process of biota and reflectsthe characteristics: of different developmental stages. The fossils in the section have been identified as Conodonts, Corals, Trilobits, Brochiopods. Gastropods. Bryozoa, etc. (eight phyla). The limestone in the trough belongs to the early Low Devonian strata and is called the Erdaogou Formation; the sandstonev—shale in two limbs belongs to the later Upper Silurian. strata and is called the Xiaosuihe Formation. Therefore, this is a good area for studying the boundary between the Silurian and the Devonian, providing a good locality of boundary—stratotype section。
