摘　　要：对1988～2007年间我国高校MBO的理论和实践研究成果进行了梳理，从目标管理的概念界定以及构成的核心要素、特点、环节、应用的正负效应等方面分析了理论研究和实践研究存在的不足，并指出了进一步研究的方向。Based on the carding of the theoretical and practical achievements of MBO research （Management By Objectives） of Chinese universities in recent twenty years, the article analyzes the deficiency of the concept of management by objectives, constitute the core elements, features, links, the application of positive and negative effects of such areas of theoretical research and practice on the deficiencies and puts forward the direction for further Chinese universities＇ MBO research.
