摘　　要：MAPGIS是我国自主研制开发的地理信息系统,目前在石油勘探领域也具有广阔的应用前景。首先是绘制石油地质的原始图件;其次是对图件数据处理、数据库及其相关属性进行综合管理、完成原始数据的复杂查询和各类图件的叠合与分析。重点探讨在石油勘探地质研究中的实际应用。Being a geographical information system created in China, MAPGIS has been widely used in geological research and will have an expansive application expectation. It works as drawing original charts of oil geology and also as treating the charts data, synthetically managing data base and related attributes, and carrying out the complex inquiry on original data and the congruence and analyses of all kinds of charts. This paper mainly discusses the practical application of MAPGIS on oil exploration geological research.
