摘　　要：本文对木鳖子进行了名称、原植物、产地、性味及功效的历代本草考证,结合目前木鳖子的生产、使用及研究现状,证实历代本草中使用的木鳖子是葫芦科苦瓜属植物木鳖(Momordica cochinchinensis(Lour.)Spr.)的种子,产地的记载古今基本相同,木鳖子的功效和主治古今基本一致。This study made a textual research of name, botanical origin, habitat, nature and flavour, efficiency and survey on Momordica cochinchinensis. It had been verified that Momordica cochinchinensis was medicinal variety from ancient times. The habitat, efficacy and cure of Momordica cochinchinensis were more or less the same of all time.
