Leaf spots epiphyllous or arnphigenous, dark, blackened regions, subcircular, sparse, aggregated, 0.1-0.5 × 0.2-1.5mm, shining black, 2- to 4- loculate. Ascomata 81.6-173.4 × 71.4-102.2μm, immersed in the rnesophyll layer of the leaves, subglobose, with well-developed, hyaline periphyses, asci rising from the basal wall of the ascoma. Paraphyses abundant, longer than asci, 1.3-2.6~trn wide, thin-walled, no branch, aseptate. Asci clavate,
