摘　　要：INTRODUCTION The genus Moelleriella G. Winter was established by Winter in 1886 and is characterized by perithecia globose to pyriform, immersed in a brightly colored stroma with opening protruding from stroma.The genus Moelleriella G. Winter was established by Winter in 1886 and is characterized by perithecia globose to pyriform, immersed in a brightly colored stroma with opening protruding from stroma. Asci are cylindrical, with prominent hemispherical apical thickening penetrated by a narrow pore. Ascospores are filiform, with numerous transverse septa, disarticulating at maturity to produce numerous cylindrical part-spores but sometimes remaining intact （Petch 1921; Mains 1959; Kirk et al. 2001; Chaverri et al. 2008）. Species in the genus are more common in the tropics than in subtropical regions, on scale insects （Coccidae, Homoptera） and whiteflies （Aleyrodidae, Homoptera）, and parasitic on living leaves or rarely branches of plants.
