双漂移谐波聚束器的物理设计

摘  要:为了满足北京放射性核束装置计划中超导直线助能器对HI-13串列加速器束流脉冲化系统的要求,同时兼顾目前快中子飞行时间测量实验的需要,进行了双漂移谐波聚束器的物理设计。聚束器基频为6MHz,可以对质子、氘直至铯等所有离子束进行脉冲聚束,束流利用效率可达50%—60%,质子等轻离子脉冲束的脉冲时间宽度小于1ns。设计中分析了串列加速器束流传输系统中影响脉冲束流性能的各主要因素,通过束流纵向相空间的传输模拟计算,获得了满意的结果。A double drift beam buncher for China Institute of Atomic Energy(CIAE) HI 13 tandem accelerator is designed in order to meet requirements of a future super conduction linac booster for the project of Beijing Radioactive Nuclear Beam Facility, and satisfy demands of fast neutron time of flight measurement experiments at present.Base frequency of the buncher is 6 MHz, it can be used in bunching light ion beams as p or D, as well as heavy ion beams up to Cs, with beam utilization efficiency of 50 %—60 %, and pulsed beam width of light ions less than 1 ns. In the concept design, major factors which affect beam pulse width in tandem accelerator beam optics system are analyzed, and beam transportation on longitudinal phase space is calculated, the results are satisfied.
