Based on the working principle of automatic continuous firing mechanism, this paper analyzes the effects of the working state of counter recoil mechanism on the reliability of automatic continuous firing mechanism and the firing accuracy of naval guns, then expounds the key elements of the maintenance of the counter recoil mechanism, which improves the reliability of automatic continuous firing mechanism as well as the firing accuracy of naval guns. It has realistic meaning for achieving the guidance of the maintenance of naval guns.
