A New Species of the Genus Dendrolimus from Qinghai (Lep.Lasiocampidae)

摘　　要：记述采自青海的一松毛虫新种———玉树松毛虫ＤｅｎｄｒｏｌｉｍｕｓｌｉｕｉＸｕｅｔＪｉｎ，ｓｐ．ｎｏｖ．。文中附有特征图。Dendrolimus liui Xu et Jin, sp.nov.(fig.1～3) Description.- Male:Wing expanse 52mm., dark brown with body brawny; eyes black brown; front, vertex and labipalpi overlaid with black brown hairs; antenna black brown, plumiliform; corpus dark brown with elongate hairs. Forewing greyish brown with costal margin, basal area black brown; submarginal line broken into dark purprueal“V” like spot series, and the spot series curved towards inside between 6th～8th veins; postmedian line dark brown, slender, and usually its hind apex rearching 3rd vein; inner and median lines sometime not distinct, no a white discocellular spot. Hindwing brown, no any streaks. Male′s genitalia: Socii slender nipple shaped; major harpe stick shaped with a small horn protrusion terminally, rounded at the apex, and with a oblong plate on its base; sacculus small, just like pointed peach; trasus short and widen, with teeths at the apical margin; aedeagus elongate, sharped chili in shape, no spine, and its basal bursa bulbus, with a few points. Female:Differs from the male in wing expanse larger (64mm.), and paler in coloration; forewing with a white descocellular spot, median line could be seen dimly, postmedian line meander rearching hind margin of forewing. Female′s genitalia: Unknown because of the specimen damaged. Types.- Holotype 1♂, Yushu(Ganeng), Qinghai Prov.; about 600km, SW. of Xining City, 5 000m, 24-Ⅶ-1981. Allotype 1♀, 29-Ⅵ-1981(smae site as holotype) Type specimen of the new species are deposited in Qinghai Academy of Agriculture and Forestry(QAAF). Distribution. Yushu Prefecture, Qinghai Prov. Remarks. This new species, though resembling D.himalayanus Tsai et Liu, D.angulata Gaede, but can be distinguished by the appearances of major harpe, sacculus, socii and trasus, especially the aedeagus elongate, sharped chili in shape, no spine.
