摘　　要：随着1958年成立于古都咸阳的西藏民族学院建校50周年的到来,西藏民族高等教育从无到有、从小到大、从弱到强,走过了50年的历程,取得了举世瞩目的成就,为西藏的繁荣发展提供了智力支持。党和国家乃至全社会为发展西藏民族高等教育采取了一系列行之有效的措施和政策,为西藏民族高等教育的发展提供了重要保障。经过50年的探索和实践,西藏已初步形成符合西藏实际的民族高等教育体系并积累了丰富的经验。Tibet Institute for Nationalities was founded in 1958 in Xianyang, an ancient city. With the coming of its fiftieth anniversary, ethnic higher education of Tibet has made remarkable achievements in 50 years step by step, providing talented personnel for the prosperous development of Tibet. The party, the state and the whole society have adopted a series of effective measures and policies to develop ethnic higher education of Tibet and provided imPortant guarantee for its development. Through 50 years of exploration and practice, basic experience has been accumulated for the development of ethnic higher education of Tibet.
