摘　　要：短消息服务(SMS)作为全球移动通信系统(GSM)的一种基本业务,具有简单快捷,实时方便的优点,因此已经受到越来越广泛的关注.从客户端、服务端和数据库服务器3个层次,使人了解基于GSM/SMS的信息服务系统的体系结构和设计思想,以及其中核心模块短消息服务器的开发过程.通过该系统的实现,市民可以获得一个方便快捷的信息服务平台,具有很强的实用性.Short Message Service （SMS） is a basic business of global system for mobile communications （GSM）. It has some merits such as simple, quick, real-time and convenient, so it has been attracred more and more attention. Considering threetier of client, server and database server, people can know the architecture and design ideas of information service system which is based on GSM/SMS, as well as the core modules of short message server＇s exploitation. Through the realization of this system, citizens can obtain a convenient and efficient information service platform, which has high practicability.
