杜文秀大理政权与刘道衡出使英国——兼对刘道衡《上英皇表》辨伪  

On Du Wenxiu’s Administrative Organ at Yun’nan Dali and Liu Daoheng’s Envoy to the Western Region

摘　　要：刘道衡没有杜文秀大理政权授予的出使英国使节的正式委任状及大理政权正式授予的官员职衔,他不具有杜文秀大理政权委派的"使臣"的合法身份。刘道衡所带交英国印度事务部的《上英皇表》不是从大理带出的,而是在缅甸形成的。其他说明献"大理所管之地"的图、"献土称臣"及要求出兵援助的信件,都是离开大理以后形成的,不具有杜文秀大理政权直接授权处理的合法依据。这些离开大理以后在云南以外形成的《上英皇表》及信件本身,不能证明刘道衡具有大理政权"使臣"的合法身份。诸种史实表明,刘道衡不是杜文秀派出的"使臣",他以杜文秀"义子"的身份充当杜文秀派往英国"使臣"的身份是假的,是他脱离柳映苍派出的以马似龙为首的使团后自封的。In his envoy to the Western Region, Liu Daoheng did not get a certificate of appointment from Du Wenxiu＇ s Administrative Organ. Hence, the ＂Official Letter to British India Minister＂ which Liu Daoheng took was not from the Dali Administrative Office, but was directly from Myanmar. Other accompanying articles Liu took with such as ＂Map of the Area Governed by the Dali Administrative Organ＂and ＂Letter Requesting for Dispatching Troops for Assistance＂, etc. , were all formed after Liu＇ s farewell of Dali. To this end, we could reach a conclusion that Liu Daoheng was not Du Wenxiu＇ s an official envoy, but was his adopted son. Thus, his capacity was totally faked or self-proclaimed.
