早熟优质西瓜新品种农丰4号的选育

摘　　要：农丰4号是以2001P6为母本(从美国引进材料中经多代自交、分离、选育的优良自交系)、99F09为父本(F1代经多代单株自交、分离、稳定后选育而成的优良自交系)育成的杂一代西瓜新品种。中早熟,果实发育期28～30 d,全生育期90～95 d。植株生长势较强,抗炭疽病、枯萎病,可适度重茬。易坐果。单果质量5～6 kg,667 m2产量4 000 kg左右。果实椭圆形,黄绿底上覆墨绿色齿状花条,外形美观;中心可溶性固形物11.5%左右,边部8.5%左右;瓤色红,瓤质脆,口感风味好,品质优。耐贮运。适应性强,适宜山西及周边省份(北方地区)春秋保护地及露地栽培。2008年通过山西省农作物品种审定委员会审定。Nongfeng No. 4 is a F1 hybrid watermelon using 2001P6 as female parent and 99F09 as male parent, The female parent 2001P6 is an inbred line derived from an USA introduction through selfing and pedigree selection. The male parent 99F09 an inbred line derived from a F1 hybrid through selfing and pedigree selection. The total growing period is about 90-95 d from sowing and the fruit matures 28-30 d after flowering. The variety produces vigorous plant, set fruit normally in open field, and is resistance to anthracnose and Fusarium wilt. The average fruit weight is 5-6 kg, and the yield per 667 m^2 in open field is about 4 000 kg. The fruit is oblong with dark green stripes on light green skin. The flesh is red, fine, crisp and sweet. The center soluble solid content is more than 12% and 8.5% near rind. The fruit of Nongfeng No. 4 is suitable for long distance shipping. Nongfeng No. 4 is suitable for production in open field and protected field in Shanxi and other areas with similar climate conditions. Nongfeng No. 4 had been examined and approved for commercial production by Shanxi Variety Registration Committee in 2008.
