摘　　要：目的研究城市体系等级规模结构是制定区域城市发展政策的重要依据。方法利用分维值的变化对陕西省城市体系规模结构进行分析,探讨了城市体系等级规模结构现状。结果①城市体系等级规模分布严重不均衡,满足首位型分布特征,首位城市的垄断性太强,中小城市的规模与高等级城市相差太大,并且存在城市规模等级的断层现象;②城市体系等级差异有减少的趋势。结论继续强化首位城市的作用,加快宝鸡、咸阳迈入特大城市的步伐,扩大中小城市的规模,提高城市群的整体竞争力。Aim Hierarchical structure analysis of the urban system is not only an important factor which affects the development of region economy, but also an important basis for development pol- icy. Methods By analyzing the hierarchical structure of the urban system in Shaanxi Province by means of the fractal theory, the present situation of the hierarchical size structure of the urban system was studied. Results （1） So seriously unharmonious is the hierarchical size structure of the urban system, which meets primate city distribution. Thus primate city has absolute monopoly on other medium and small cities, the disparity in size between high-grade cities and medium and small cities is great, and there also exists fault phenomenon in city hierarchical size structure. （2） The grade difference in the urban system shows a downward trend. Conclusion The role of the primate city Xi＇an being strengthened continuously, such medium and small cities as Baoji and Xianyang are made to stride forward towards megacity, to expand their scales and to improve their urban agglomerations competitiveness.
