摘　　要：针对传统视频监控领域中布线和线路维护费用成本高等缺点;以整个视频编码服务器(ES)系统的软、硬件为主要研究对象,采用ARM9(S3C2440)与TMS32ODM642进行整个系统的设计,系统主要分为控制模块、视频采集模块、通讯模块,控制模块对整个系统进行实时的控制与数据的传输;视频采集模块主要对音视频信号进行编码,S3C2440把编码出来的视频流信号通过有线与无线的方式送到流媒体服务器中;该系统的设计与传统的模拟监控系统相比,能有效地降低成本,减少系统体积和重量,运行维护更容易;该系统的设计经过了初步的调试,基本达到了初步设计的要求。The traditional video surveillance costs on wiring and maintenance is higher. This paper research the hardware and software of the ES system. The ES system design use the ARM9 （S3C2440） and DM642. The way of design can greatly increase the overall sysetm capacity and lower power consumption. It can more effctively reduce costs and reduce system size and weight. The system opration and maintenance more effctive than the traditional analog control systems. The deign of system have finished initial debugging and the result reached preliminary design.
